How do hatch boost pets stack in Grow a Garden?
Most flat hatch speed boosts (like Chicken's +10%) stack additively, so two Chickens give +20%. Periodic effects (Blood Kiwi, Bald Eagle) trigger independently and don't compete with flat boosts — they subtract fixed time each trigger interval. The game applies the combined multiplier to the remaining hatch time each tick.
What's the fastest way to hatch a Legendary Egg?
Stack multiple flat hatch-boost pets (Chicken, Chicken Zombie) to push baseline speed to +30-40%, then add one or two Blood Kiwis for periodic time reduction, and equip a Bald Eagle for the large-jump triggers. With this setup a 60-minute Legendary Egg can hatch in ~30-35 minutes depending on weight bonuses.
Do Easter eggs use the same formula?
Base Easter eggs follow the standard hatch time formula, but Easter Bunny and Eggsnapper pets give a conditional +15% boost specifically on Easter-tagged eggs. Combined with Chicken's universal +10%, that's +25% on Easter eggs and +10% on everything else in the same loadout.
Does pet weight affect hatch boost?
Yes for some pets. Blood Kiwi's formula includes weight — at 50kg it triggers roughly every 10 seconds and removes 67.5 seconds per trigger. Chicken and Chicken Zombie give flat percentage boosts that don't scale with weight.
